One of the burgeoning challenges that confront many security companies today is that of – how to adequately transition junior security ‘officers’ to security ‘supervisors’. In some instance, officers who wish to be promoted to supervisory levels or officers who have already been promoted are encumbering tremendous difficulty in making the paradigm shift.
The course focuses on coaching persons to “cope” with the new “supervisory” duties and responsibilities and to guide them in understanding the difference between operating in the mindset and at the level of a junior officer. The course will also teach techniques in which the “supervisor” may be able to conceptualise and internalise the new role of “supervisor” and harness the experience as an “officer” to the benefit of the officer individually and the organization as a whole.
