COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course deals with a fundamental aspect in the security industry – supervision. Participants will obtain a clear and real understanding of what the role of a Security Supervisor is, and what he/she needs to do to get persons under his/her supervision to do what is required in an efficient and effective manner for the benefit of the company. Experience has shown that performance/behavior exhibited by security officers, whether it is a strength or weakness, is a direct reflection of the level of supervision provided. Performance is therefore the ultimate responsibility and goal of supervision.

The course will focus on:

1. Role and function of the Supervisor.
2. How to supervise.
