COURSE DESCRIPTION: Every year, hundreds of injuries and illnesses take place in the workplace in Trinidad and Tobago. These vary by type of workplace environment, for example, office setting, manufacturing, oil and gas industry, retail sector, financial sector, construction, schools, etc.

In this course, participants will firstly become exposed to the major types of injuries and illnesses that occur in the workplace - quite an illuminating disclosure. Possession of this powerful knowledge will certainly empower organizations to develop and implement policies and interventions that will both prevent as well as deal with such injuries and illnesses that occur in the workplace. Further, and even more fundamental, the course will enlighten employees on what they themselves should and shouldn’t do that will prevent and reduce their injuries and illness in the workplace.

This is a critical course not only for HSE personnel or those employees who are desirous of joining this field, but also, to the employees who have a keen interest in their own health and welfare.
