Mr. Brian Ramsey- Chairman
Mr. Brian Ramsey has over 30 years experience in security activities in Trinidad and the Caribbean region. He has headed a major security company in Trinidad with operations in the Cash-in-Transit, Guarding, Electronic Security, Monitoring and Rapid Response areas, and has also been a Director of security companies in Guyana, Barbados and Jamaica. He is presently a Director of Amalgamated Security Services Limited and a director of its subsidiary companies in Barbados, Grenada, St Lucia, Guyana and Global Medical Response of Trinidad and Tobago.
Over the years, Mr. Ramsey has conducted security assessments for numerous corporate clients and worked with corporate clients to assist them in the development of their security policies and procedures. He has undertaken security consulting work in St Lucia, St Kitts, Trinidad, Grenada and Barbados, He has participated in the design of cash centers for Venezuela, Barbados, Guyana, St. Kitts & Trinidad and has conducted operational analyses on security companies in Grenada, St Lucia, Guyana and Jamaica.
Mr. Ramsey has managed security protection for clients during the 1990 attempted coup in Trinidad and implemented security protection for Grenadian clients in the aftermath of Hurricane Ivan in 2004. Mr. Ramsey has been a featured speaker on security topics for a variety of corporate entities and civic groups, plus been a guest speaker at several conferences that included the AmCham HSSE conference at the Trinidad Hyatt and the Caribbean Regional Compliance Association Conference in the Bahamas. His articles on various topics have appeared in different magazines including Caribbean Conveyor Magazine, Liat Inflight Magazine, St Lucia Business Focus, Progressive Grocer and the Linkage Magazine.
He has served on several committees which have included, Crime & Justice Sub-committee of the Trinidad & Tobago Chamber of Commerce, National Security and Public Safety Sub-committee of the 2020 Multisectoral Group, Standing Committee on Crime - Ministry of National Security, October 2000 – May 2001.
Mr. Brian Ramsey graduated with honors from the University of South Florida with a Masters in Business Administration concentrating in Finance. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from St. Leo University in Florida, where he majored in Management and Accounting. In addition to his experience in the security field, Mr. Ramsey also has experience in the corporate sector, having worked in the Banking sector and as an accountant within the Neal & Massy Group.
Dr. Maurice Aboud- Deputy Chairman
Dr Maurice Aboud holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry with emphasis in Forensic Science and a Master of Science degree in Forensic Science from Florida International University. He has a Bachelor of Science degree, Forensic Science and a Bachelor of Science degree, Chemistry from the University of New Haven Connecticut.

Dr. Maurice Aboud is also a trained Executive Protection Agent and a Certified Protection Specialist.
Mr. James Philbert
Mr. James Philbert retired in 2010 as the Acting Commissioner of Police for the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service after having served in the Police Service for 43 years. Mr. Philbert has extensive training in Intelligence and Criminal Investigations having attended and completed courses at the Canadian Police College, US Department of Justice, the US Department of the Treasury, the FBI and the Police Staff College, England.
Among the courses he has attended are the Regional Narcotics Enforcement Training Seminar in Puerto Rico, the International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Programme, Major Case Management Course in Ottawa, Canada and the International Strategic Leadership Programme in Bramshill, England. Mr. Philbert has a Bachelor of Law degree from the Hugh Wooding Law School St Augustine and has been accepted to the Bar and is a qualified Attorney-at-Law.
Mr. Anthony C. Subero
Anthony C. Subero is currently the General Manager – Group Internal Audit of the Republic Bank Group with over 10 years of experience at the senior/executive management level and over 30 years of experience in the banking industry.
Mr. Subero specializes in Strategic Planning, Operations Management, Business Process Re-Engineering, Enterprise Risk management, Information Technology Operations, Operational Risk Management, Information Technology Security, Business Continuity Management, Corporate Security, and Anti-Money Laundering compliance.
In 2013, he earned a Master's degree specializing in Leadership and Innovation from the Lord Ashcroft International School of Business, United Kingdom. He also holds a Diploma and Higher Diploma from the Institute of Management Information Systems, Surrey London; an Executive Diploma in Business Management from Institute of Business, Trinidad; a Certificate in Strategic Project Management from the University of Florida; and Project Management Professional (PMP) accreditation from the Project Management Institute, USA.
Mr. Subero is a member of various professional groups and associations where he contributes his knowledge including the Project Management Institute (PMI), Institute of Internal Auditors, Board and Advisors, Chief Audit Executives Group, Internal Audit Professionals, Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors, and the Enterprise Risk Management Group.
He sits on the Advisory Board of the Trinidad and Tobago Risk Management Institute (TTRMI) and the Board of Directors of the Caribbean Risk Management Institute. Mr. Subero also sits on a number of executive management committees and represented the Bankers' Association of Trinidad and Tobago in the development of the country’s cyber crime/attack policy and response plan. He also develops and lectures on accredited project management programmes of the Project Management Institute, USA.
Mr. Curt Cadet
Mr. Cadet has over twenty years of managerial and executive experience in the field of health, safety and the environment while possessing many of this industry’s certifications and qualifications.
He is a Member and Chair of the HSE Committee of AMCHAM for the last twenty years as well as the Chair of the Caribbean Branch of Institution of Occupational Safety and Health for the past eight years.
Mr. Mervyn Salandy
Mr. Mervyn Salandy, B.A. (H), M.Ed., served honourably in the Trinidad & Tobago Coast Guard for over thirty years holding ranks such as Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chief of the Defence Staff, Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Commanding Officer, Welfare Fleet Chief Petty Officer and President of the Senior Rates Mess.
His career in the military is littered with excellence to include postings both at the strategic and operational levels. Further, he delivered key presentations including at the Third Annual Conference of Senior Enlisted Leaders of the US Army South, the Caribbean, Latin and Central America in 2007. Upon retirement from active duty in 2008, Mr. Salandy served in the Defence Force Reserves as the Staff Officer Personnel, J1 for the Fifth Summit of the Americas Conference, Operations Planning and Coordination Staff (OPACS). In 2009, he once again served as the Chief Administrative Officer of OPACS for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Conference.
Mr. Salandy has a Masters of Education Degree from the University of Sheffield and a B.A. Honours in Human Resource Management from the University of Greenwich. Other qualifications achieved include an Associate of Arts Degree in Human Resource Management from Cipriani College of Labour and Cooperative Studies, a Diploma in Management Studies from Joint Services Staff College and an International Instructor Certificate from Transport Canada. He also has training in Counter Terrorism from George Marshall Centre for Strategic Studies and the Centre for Civil Military Response – Naval Post Graduate School in Civil Response to Terrorism.
In 2012, Mr. Salandy developed and delivered a training package on Organisational Development and Team Building to all ranks of the Trinidad and Tobago Air Guard and later that year he also co-partnered with another consultant to work with BOS Security in the area of Organisational Development and Strategic Support Services. From 2013 onwards, he continued to provide key support services to both private and public sector organisations.
Mr. Trevor F. Ifill- Company Secretary
Mr. Trevor F. Ifill has over thirty years of experience in the private and public sectors both locally and regionally. He held significant management and consultancy positions in several companies over the years including WITCO and the Jamaica Public Service Company Ltd. Mr. Ifill served on the Board of Directors of the Solid Waste Management Company Ltd. and the Youth Training and Employment Partnership Programme in Trinidad and Tobago for several years.
He obtained his B.Sc. from the University of Manitoba, Canada and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management and an Executive MBA from UWI, St. Augustine. Mr. Ifill also completed further management training in England and the USA. Among his skills are his strength in the development of policies, documentations, training programmes, human resource and total quality management. He possesses notable executive experience cross the Caribbean.
