COURSE DESCRIPTION: In all workplaces, incidents of all kinds occur that require effective investigations by quality trained personnel. Such investigations should be done according to the right principles and practices expected of such enquiries. Incidents may be non-criminal or criminal in nature – from simple to complex matters. This timely and cutting-edge course which is geared for all types of institutions teaches participants BOTH types of investigations.

Among other things, it will cover the various types of investigations, the range of techniques utilized in investigations and where each type is most suitable, the various requirements for a thorough investigation, and special issues such as interviewing, gathering of statements, dealing with witnesses, rights of persons, collection and preservation of various types of evidence, etc. In the end, the participant will be enriched with the necessary tools to conduct workplace investigations that can bring about a fair resolution to the matters before hand.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: In all workplaces, there is conflict between employees, between employees and customers, and between employees and clients such as suppliers, business partners, etc. It is paramount that employees in organizations at all levels know how to effectively deal with such conflicts – not to fear it. As a result, this course will enable all participants to understand, appreciate and most importantly, practice the necessary tools in conflict management in various types of working environments. Defensive driving is an acquired skill. Many accidents can be avoided if drivers knew how to drive safer and avoid taking unnecessary risks. While many of us believe that we are good drivers, being a defensive driver opens our mind to the type of dangers on the road and how we can be more aware of other influences that can affect a drivers ability. This course is more based on the ethics and doctrines that guide defensive driving and what individuals can do to become more aware and better driviers.

5 Retail Loss Prevention - Protecting Delivery Vehicles Sat, 27 April 2019 Sat, 27 April 2019 1250 TTD

In this timely training, participants will be empowered with the necessary tools to identify the multiplicity of both modern and contemporary methods that theft occurs with company vehicles.  With crime affecting many organisations, it is important that we look at ways to protect drivers and delivery personnel from the criminal elements. Further, and of great significance, the course presents with the use of relevant illustrations, successful strategies that can be instituted to subsequently prevent such occurrences. Acknowledging that all crimes cannot be prevented, the training provided in this course will delve heavily into what control systems can be implemented.


Overall, the aim of this professional development training is to share the wealth of knowledge and experience using contemporary teaching and learning philosophies and methodologies, on the most appropriate systems and procedures to identify, prevent and control theft with these drivers and their co-workers.
